Choose your images
Select or drop up to 10 JPEG or static PNG images, totaling no more than 50 MB. Each file is checked independently; rejected files do not prevent valid ones from being used. JPEG orientation is applied automatically.

Choose a preset or custom maximum width, WebP or JPG, and a quality setting. Settings apply to every image. Check each planned size, then optimize. Images process one at a time and progress shows the current position.

Review each preview and actual size. Download individual results or a ZIP of completed results. Cancel to keep completed images; retry unfinished or failed ones. Changing settings clears all outdated results.

A few common questions
Which preset should I choose?
Article image starts at a maximum width of 1200 pixels, Large website image at 1920, and Thumbnail at 400. These are editable starting points, not universal website or platform requirements. Use Custom for your layout’s needs.
Will my image be cropped or enlarged?
No. The maximum width caps the original’s width and the height follows its aspect ratio, rounded to the nearest whole pixel with a minimum of one. Images already narrower keep their original dimensions. JPEG orientation is applied first. Very small dimensions can have a slight rounding difference.
What happens to transparent areas?
WebP preserves PNG transparency. JPG cannot store transparency, so those areas are composited onto white, including partly transparent edges. Checkerboards are preview backgrounds and are never added to the output.
Does higher quality guarantee a better or smaller image?
No. Higher encoding settings generally create larger files and may preserve more detail, but they do not represent a percentage of original quality retained. Resizing changes pixel dimensions; encoding changes how pixels are stored. Outputs can be larger than the source. There is no target file size or guaranteed visual quality—compare the result.
Can I try another setting without importing again?
Yes. Your original files stay in memory while you adjust settings. Only one full-resolution source is decoded at a time. Each output uses that original source, never the previous result or reduced preview. Changing settings removes the outdated download. Remove an image, start over or leave the page to release resources.
Which images and browsers are supported?
Up to 10 JPEG or static PNG images, with a combined limit of 50 MB (50,000,000 bytes). Each file can be up to 20 MB, 24 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side. Actual contents and decoding are validated, and animated PNGs are rejected. Your browser needs JavaScript, image decoding and Canvas encoding. If valid WebP encoding is unavailable, choose JPG or another current browser.
What happens if I cancel or an image fails?
Cancellation stops the queue and discards any late result from the current image. A native browser operation may take a moment to finish releasing resources. Completed results stay available. Retry failed or unfinished images without importing again; a failure does not stop other images. Removing a file frees its resources.
What is included in the ZIP and size totals?
Only successfully completed results are included. Totals compare those results with their own original files, excluding rejected, failed and unfinished images. The ZIP result count is shown before downloading. Numbered filenames keep entries distinct even when original names match. ZIP packaging does not guarantee further compression; outputs can be larger than originals. Individual downloads remain available if ZIP generation fails.
Are images uploaded, stored or tracked?
No uploads, external APIs, storage or analytics are used. Processing stays in your browser; download saves the file to your device. Canvas does not copy original camera or location metadata and color management may change colors. Large images can require substantial memory.
