Fit keeps the entire image centered without stretching or enlargement. A larger canvas adds white space, not image detail.
Applied on each side: 5% of frame width on the left and right, and 5% of frame height on the top and bottom. Aspect ratio and no enlargement may leave additional white space.
White canvas and transparent areas are white in the JPG. This does not remove or replace the existing background in your photo.

Start with Square, Portrait or Landscape, or edit both dimensions. Use Fit for the entire image with margins, or Fill to crop. Review the framed preview and adjust any available crop position controls.

Select Prepare photo to generate from the original, then Download JPG. Check the exact output dimensions and actual file size. Change settings and prepare again without reimporting, or use Start over to release the image.

A few common questions
What is the difference between Fit and Fill?
Fit keeps the entire photo centered on white and preserves its aspect ratio. Fill covers the frame by cropping the edges, also without stretching. Position controls appear only where cropping can occur. Preview and export use the same geometry.
How are Fit margins measured?
The 0–15% setting applies to every side. At 5% in a 1200 × 1500 frame, the left and right margins are at least 60 pixels each and the top and bottom margins at least 75 pixels each. The image is scaled to fit the remaining area. Its proportions and the no-enlargement limit may leave more white space.
Why is Fill unavailable for my photo?
Fill is unavailable when covering the frame would require enlarging the source. Reduce the frame dimensions or choose Fit. Fit can place a small original on a larger white canvas at its existing size. A larger canvas does not add image detail.
Does the white canvas remove the existing background?
No. This tool does not remove backgrounds or isolate products. Existing background pixels in your photo remain. Added canvas space is white, and transparent or partly transparent PNG areas are composited onto white for JPG.
Are these official marketplace dimensions?
No. Square (1200 × 1200), Portrait (1200 × 1500) and Landscape (1500 × 1200) are editable starting presets, not official Etsy, Shopify or Amazon requirements. Custom frames allow whole dimensions from 1 to 16,384 pixels per side, with a maximum of 24 million total pixels.
What happens to image quality and file size?
JPG is encoded at a 90% quality setting. This is an encoder setting, not a percentage of original quality retained. Resampling and compression can change detail and colors, and file sizes may increase. The original is never enlarged. Canvas export does not copy camera or location metadata.
Can I change the frame and prepare again?
Yes. The oriented original stays in memory until you replace it, start over or leave this page. Each export uses the original, never the reduced preview or previous JPG. Settings changes remove outdated downloads. Start over also cancels pending work and discards late results while browser operations finish.
Which files are accepted, and are they uploaded?
One JPEG or static PNG up to 20 MB (20,000,000 bytes), 24 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side. File contents and decoding are validated; animated PNG is rejected. Processing stays in your browser with no uploads or APIs. JavaScript, image decoding and Canvas encoding are required. Large frames may exceed available device memory even within these limits.
